Welcome to the 1st Annual American Hero 25K Relay
What: 5 person relay (5K each leg)
Why:  To raise funds for  scholarships for cancer survivors
(includes all
deadly diseases, blindness, and child abuse
To
honor Military, Police/Fire, Teachers, Corporate, Community
When: 29 May  2010, Last Sunday in May each year

The course: Start, handoffs and finish in Alamo Stadium
Start in Alamo Stadium, run  or walk 3/4 lap in stadium then out the back R on Tuleta toward the zoo, R on St Marys, L
on Mulberry, L on Red Oak, R on Tuleta, L on Brackenridge Rd, cross bridge on to Lambert Beach Trail, R on the Trail
(one loop), cross Brackenridge Rd on to Old St Marys Walkway (in front of Zoo), R on Tuleta (in front of Zoo Entrance),
L into the stadium, R on the track. All handoffs will be after the start/finish line.  Designated handoff areas will be
assigned to each team (marked A through Z) All hand-offs are in the stadium

Donation: $35 / Runner / Walker, Other Donations To see Event: $15 / person. Audience and runners/walkers will
receive the AH25kRelay Yearbook with teams & runners listed for tracking during the event,  "Buy One - Get One" free
coupons at Spaghetti Warehouse and other restaurants, plus discount coupons from local stores

30 divisions. T shirts and
Olympic Size Medals to all runners (1st, 2nd, 3rd, & honorable mention)   
Over 20 Recognition Awards: No additional medals "Just Bragging Rights"
